Second Oak Cliff Film Fest Announced

Well organized, well executed, and well received, the inaugural Oak Cliff Film Festival managed to carve out a niche for itself this past summer in a metroplex that already had about a dozen other film fests competing for attention and resources. Its founders are ready to prove it’s here to stay, officially announcing the OCFF’s second installment with a press release on Friday:

“We are excited to announce Oak Cliff Film Festival: THE SEQUEL taking place right here in the neighborhood June 6-9, 2013. Film Submissions are officially open Monday via WithoutaBox as we look for genre-bending, bold films for the following categories:

– Narrative Feature
– Documentary Feature
– Experimental Docs and Shorts (including Community Shorts)
– Student Short
– Narrative Shorts
– Animated Features and Shorts
– Music Video

Last year’s inaugural festival was a blast and we were excited to be named ‘Best New Festival’ by the Dallas Observer and even had a mention in the New York Times but we always planned for year 2 to be the WOW year… there are some VIP guests and films lined up for OCFF2 that will absolutely stun the film community here in Texas. WE CAN’T WAIT!!!

Please email any of us with any questions, comments about the festival and we will make sure and keep communication lines open as we make big announcements between now and June.

Now, let us leave you with some parting words from our special guest (and Argo co-star) Rory Cochrane, our official spokesman!!!”
