The Magnolia continues its Challenging Autuer film miniseries with a screening of Jean-Luc Godard’s stunning drama Vivre Sa Vie (1962), 7:30 and 10pm, September 18, at the theater. Details

Cinemark Theaters and Paramount Studios continue the Autumn portion of their Reel Classics series with David Lean’s classic adaptation of Pierre Boulle’s novel The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957), 2 and 7pm, September 20, at select Cinemark theaters. Details

The Texas Theater’s Tuesday Night Trash series strives onward with a screening of the martial arts flick 5 Element Ninja  (aka Chinese Super Ninjas, 1982), 9:15pm, September 18, at the theater. Details

The Texas Theater celebrates 50 years of Bond-age with screenings of 007’s film debut, Dr. No (1962), various showtimes, September 19-23, at the theater. Details

Raising ArizonaThe Dallas Film Society presents an outdoor screening of  the Coen Brothers’ comedy Raising Arizona (1986), with live music at 7pm and movie at 9pm, September 21, at the Nasher Sculpture Center. Details

The Dallas Museum of Art presents a late-night screening of Kevin Macdonald’s unique documentary Life In a Day (2011), 10pm, September 21, in the museum’s Horchow Auditorium. Details

The Inwood Theatre’s Midnight Madness feature for this week is the classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986) on Friday and Saturday, September 21 and 22, at the theater. Details

The Texas Theater continues its Pata Negra Spanish film series with a screening of Alex de la Iglesias’ caper comedy La Comunidad (2000), with paella at 6pm and movie a 7:30pm, September 22, at the theater. Details
