Eterné Films will host an open audition for the cast of the motion picture One Heart on September 9, 11, and 12 at the Hilton Southlake in Southlake Town Center. Based on a true story, the movie recounts a pivotal, life-changing football game between Grapevine Faith School and the Gainesville State School, the latter a maximum-security juvenile detention facility.
Director Mark Ellis, and producers Steve Riach and Larry Frenzel will hold the audition to fill the roles of high school football players as well as roles for extras. Also, local casting director Beth Sepko will audition certain participants for speaking roles. Interested performers must pre-register at www.oneheartmovie.com by September 8.
Player Requirements: Male players between the ages of 18-25 with extensive football experience. Players must have completed their high school football eligibility and should NOT be seeking NCAA eligibility through a college or junior college football program. The roles are paid positions.
Registration, screening and interviews will be held on September 9th at the hotel from 8am to 6pm. On-field tryouts will be held September 11 with call-backs on September 12, at a TBD location in the D/FW area. Those interested in participating who do not meet the specific requirements for football players may audition for other roles, information on which is at the website.
