Cinemark Theaters and Paramount Studios kick-off their Reel Classics summer film series continues with a screening of Orson Welles’ masterpiece Cool Hand Luke (1967), 2 and 7pm, June 20, at select Cinemark theaters. Details

The Magnolia’s The Big Movie films series begins its Ultimate Top Ten — The Sight & Sound Poll series with a screening of Yasujiro Ozu’s Tokyo Story (1953), 7:30 and 10pm, June 20, at the theater. Details

The Lone Star Film Society and Sundance Square continue the Stars Under the Stars outdoor film series with a screening of Martin Scorsese’s Academy Award-winning Hugo (2011), doors at 7:30pm and movie at 9pm, June 21, at the Gateway Parking Lot in downtown Fort Worth. Details

The Texas Theater presents a reprise screening of the biopic Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life (2010), 6:45pm, June 21, at the theater. Details

The Texas Theater also presents a screening of a 35mm print of Mel Brooks’ classic comedy Young Frankenstein (1974), time TBA, June 21, at the theater. Details

The Inwood Theatre’s Midnight Madness features for this week are Tommy Wiseau’s cult-classic Z-grade drama The Room (2003) on June 22, and the classic rock musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) on June 23, at the theater. Details
