The Pink Panther The Texas Theater presents a special screening of a 35mm print of Blake Edward’s caper comedy The Pink Panther (1963), 4:20pm, April 8, at the theater.  Details

The Magnolia’s The Big Movie classic films series concludes its two-part Biblical Spectaculars series with a screening of Cecil B. DeMille’s star-studded, quintessential Bible epic The Ten Commandments (1956), 7pm, April 10, at the theater. Details

Raising ArizonaThe Texas Theater presents 25th anniversary screenings of the Coen Brothers’ classic comedy Raising Arizona (1987), 7:30 and 9:30pm, April 11 and 12, at the theater.  Details

Two Rode TogetherThe Austin Film Festival and the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum’s Made in Texas series presents John Ford’s Two Rode Together (1961) starring James Stewart and Richard Widmark, 7:30pm, April 11, at the Texas Spirit Theater. Details

The Inwood Theatre’s Midnight Madness feature for this week will be Peter Bogdanovich’s The Last Picture Show (1971) on Friday and Saturday at midnight, April 13 and 14, at the theater. Details

Also at the Texas: a Grey Gardens screening party, featuring a showing of the Maysles Brothers’ groundbreaking 1975 documentary, preceded by a party and costume contest, with proceeds benefiting the Dallas SPCA. Party at 8pm, contest at 9:45, and screening at 10pm, April 14, at the theater.  Details
