Ben-HurThe Magnolia’s The Big Movie classic films series begins its two-part Biblical Spectaculars series with a screening of William Wyler’s Academy Award-winning epic Ben-Hur (1959) starring Charlton Heston, 7pm, April 3, at the theater. Details

The Pink PantherThe Texas Theater presents special screenings of a 35mm print of Blake Edward’s caper comedy The Pink Panther (1963), 7:20pm, April 4 and 5, at the theater.  Details

Battle RoyaleThe Inwood Theatre’s Midnight Madness feature for this week will be Kinji Fukasaki’s Battle Royale (2000) — think of it as the Japanese Hunger Games — on Friday and Saturday at midnight, April 6 and 7, at the theater. Details

The Oyster PrincessAlso at the Texas: a screening of Ernst Lubitch’s silent comedy The Oyster Princess (aka My Lady Margerine, 1919) with a live score provided by Austin-based band Bee vs. Moth, 9pm, April 7, at the theater.  Details
