Welcome to Movie Ink.

So I’ve decided to take the plunge into the blogosphere.

My career has pretty much centered on two things: cinema and writing. Hence the title of this sucker. It pretty much sums up what I intend to do here, which is take my film journalism experience and channel it into two areas: film criticism and coverage of DFW film fests, productions, events, etc.

Expect to find reviews of current releases and obscure favorites, musings, and as much local coverage as one geek can churn out from week to week.
